Bio:
Hoofless is an SLC-based post-rock group founded by Halee Jea n in 2016 to create long-format compositions that pull from post-rock, cinema, classical, and experimental. Aside from the core member, Halee, Hoofless has undergone almost yearly personnel changes, evolving by stages from a primarily instrumental trio at the time of its first recordings into an 7-piece group in 2022, and now a 5-piece ensemble that features cello, trombone, guitar, bass, and drums. Hoofless’ music is described as post-rock, though the group identifies with a punk rock, experimental, and outsider art ethos and aesthetic.
